Who we are

Industrialise is a new business and not yet a registered company. For anything to do with your data, email will@industrialise.co.uk.

On this website

We collect only what you type into the demo form: your name and your work email address. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking.

We use it to arrange the demo you asked for, and to follow it up. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your details. Because you asked us to get in touch, the law allows us to use your details for that.

The form is processed by Netlify, which hosts this website, and each request is emailed on to us. Netlify is based in the United States, so your details may be stored there, under the safeguards in Netlify’s data processing terms. The site’s fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.

We keep your details for twelve months after your demo, unless you become a customer. Ask, and we will delete them sooner.

In the Industrialise app

If your employer uses Industrialise, your employer decides what is recorded about you and is responsible for it. We hold it on their behalf, under our terms of service with them, and use it for nothing else.

It holds your name, work email address, initials, role and qualifications; what you recorded, signed or approved, and when; and your sign-in history, including IP addresses. Your two-factor secret is stored encrypted.

You can also sign in with your Microsoft or Google account. The first time you do, Microsoft or Google tells us the email address it has verified for that account, and we use it once, to find the account your employer added for you; you can also link the account yourself from your account page. After that we recognise it by an identifier that never changes (for a work or school Microsoft account, together with its organisation’s directory), and keep the address it showed so you can recognise it on your account page. We never receive your Microsoft or Google password, and never see your email, files or contacts. Unlinking removes all of it.

All of it, including backups, is held by Amazon Web Services in London and does not leave the UK. If your employer switches the drawing reader on, pictures of drawings are read by Claude on Amazon Bedrock, also in London. When they ask the app to draft suggestions for a process of their own, the same service is sent that process’s name and kind, a line about what it does and a machine’s make and model. Nothing about you is sent, and they can switch AI suggestions off.

When your company pays for a plan, Stripe takes the payment. Card details are typed into Stripe’s own pages and never reach us. The app sends Stripe the email address of the person paying and a reference for your company, and keeps the plan, its billing dates and Stripe’s reference for it. Stripe may hold these details outside the UK, under the safeguards in its data processing terms.

The app sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in, and while you sign in with Microsoft or Google a second one, which lasts ten minutes. It also remembers a couple of display choices in your browser, such as which menu sections you have folded. It runs no analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from anyone else.

Sign-in records and IP addresses are kept for 90 days, and the record of who did what for six years. Everything else is kept for as long as your employer uses Industrialise, and deleted after they leave.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or object to how we use them, by emailing will@industrialise.co.uk. For anything held in the app, ask your employer first; we will help them answer. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
